Whether you like it or not, the use of AI to develop incredibly lifelike cinematics based on our favorite video game and movie franchises has arrived. With Mortal Kombat having an enormous footprint across many different facets of entertainment, it comes as no surprise that fans have now started generating their own AI movies based on the game's huge roster of characters and rich lore.

One such outlet is a Youtube channel that goes by the name Oneshot. So far, they have released three installments in their Mortal Kombat series - Re-Imagined, The Gathering, and The Tournament.

While AI isn't 100% perfect just yet, with dialogue still coming off a little hokey at times, and some things not quite making sense, you can't deny that these new fan projects are not thoroughly entertaining. And I'm not gonna lie, I kind of like these more than the two movies recently released by Warner Bros.
