Welcome to FDMK! To make sure everyone here enjoys themselves and things run as smoothly as possible, there are some rules that we all need to abide by.
Thou shalt respect the staff
The staff at FDMK volunteer their time to maintain order and civility, while at the same time try to ensure that everyone enjoys their own time spent here. They will always make an honest effort to remain fair and impartial. However, if you or another member have broken a forum rule and are penalized as a result, do not call out, insult, or attack the staff publicly on the forums. If you disagree with any action(s) by the staff, please use the PM system to contact the staff member in question or the forum administrator directly.
Thou shalt not post scans
Like music and movies, the kontent of published materials such as magazines, books, etc. is protected by copyright law. Posting scans is both illegal and forbidden.
Thou shalt not post racist and/or derogatory comments
This is a kommunity environment, and everyone will be treated with respect. Flaming is strictly forbidden. However, mild teasing is allowed, as long as the receiving party understands you are only joking.
Thou shalt not post pornography
Hardcore pornography that depicts any kind of sex act is strictly forbidden. However, mild nudity is not. What does this mean? It means that the occasional bare breast or ass is tolerable as long as it isn't overly obscene, and genitals are not visible.
Thou shalt not create multiple accounts
Members are only allowed to have one(1) account on this forum. Any duplicate accounts will be deleted. There are shop items that allow you to change your username.
Thou shalt not treat FDMK as a promotional tool
Members are not allowed to advertise other websites on this forum. This includes flooding the PM system begging other members to join your site. If caught advertising through PM, your ability to send private messages will be revoked and all PM's sent will be deleted. However, members are allowed to have a link to their website(s) in their signature.
Thou shalt use correct grammar and spelling
Please use English when posting, and please use the proper spellings for words. Remember, it's "the" and "was" not "da" and "wuz." There's nothing I hate more than "gangsta" slang and l33t speak. So don't do it!
Thou shalt not spam
Please do not reply to topics with useless posts such as 'LOL', 'cool' or 'me too'. These posts are considered spam and are useless to the productivity of the forum.
Thou shalt not double post
If your message is the last in a thread and there is something else you would like to say, please edit your message instead of posting another one. However, if it has been a reasonable amount of time and no other members have posted a message, you may update the thread and post again if you have more to add to the discussion.
THOU SHALT NOT TYPE IN ALL-CAPS
This is considered shouting. Do not type your entire message in ALL-CAPS. Nobody likes this, so don't do it, or nobody will like you, either.
Thou shalt leave thy religion and thy politics at the door
Threads concerning religion and politics never lead to anything except arguments, so let's not go near these subjects.
Thou shalt use a valid email address
A valid email address is required for membership on this forum. phpBB offers many features where members receive an email notification, such as upon registration, watching topics, or receiving a private message. In order for this to work properly, you must supply a valid email address.
Thou shalt not steal
Getting caught stealing carries a heavy penalty. If you are caught stealing from this website, you will be banned automatically.
The penalties for breaking the rules are very simple. Each time you break a rule, a negative karma award may be given to you. Each offense carries a different weight. Simple offenses such as spamming or double-posting will earn you a -1. However, more serious offenses like flaming will earn you a -5. Once you reach -10, you will be banned. The seriousness of your offenses will determine how long you are banned.
Avatars should be no more than 150x150 pixels in size. Any avatars found bypassing this rule will be removed without warning.
Please try to keep your signature to three(3) images or less. Signatures found to be violating this limit or overly distracting may be removed without warning.
