During a panel today at the San Diego Comic Con, Netherrealm Studios unveiled tons of new details of what's in store for Mortal Kombat 1.The Khaos Reigns expansion will consist of all new story chapters and a Kombat Pack 2, which will include new versions of Sektor, Cyrax, and Noob Saibot, along with guest characters Ghostface from the Scream movie franchise, Conan the Barbarian, and the T-1000 from Terminator 2.
Also revealed at the end of the trailer is that Animalities will be returning as a free update to all who purchase the expansion.
The Khaos Reigns expansion is set to release on September 24th. Pre-ordering will also earn you four free skins - Wedding Scorpion, UMK3 Sub-Zero, Empress Mileena, and UMK3 Noob Saibot.

The guests are also going to have Animalities. The first guest character apparently is Ghostface. I'm thinking he's releasing around Halloween. There is a unknown Easter egg in Year 2 and there is more Years to kome.

Yeah, that's one of the coolest ones so far. I like Reptile's too, even though it technically isn't an animal.
Some just don't make sense to me though. Why does Sektor turn into a rhino? She should've turned into a fire ant.
Why wasn't noob the gorilla? Being all black, it would've made more sense to have two gorillas instead of two crocodiles.

Since we know there's two based on the outro, and MK1 is designed for one fighter and a kameo, I'm going to guess it's going to be a random main fighter with a kameo, if they ever show their faces of course.
