I'm digging alot of the details. I like how you can see the Netherrealm in some of the portals. The tentacles give almost a cosmic, Lovecraft feel, which I love.
The fatality involving glass, I've seen that before. If you've ever seen the movie The Cell, they did that with a horse. Definitely where the inspiration came from. I can't think of it being from anything else.

Quan Chi does look good. Khameleon hasn't been seen in a while. Hope she has a moveset of her own.
