At this year's San Diego Comic Con, NetherRealm Studios has released a brand new trailer featuring a new faction called the Umgadi, a group of warrior priestesses sworn to protect Outworld's royal family.First to be revealed in the trailer is Li Mei, former leader of the Umgadi, who has resigned her post due to Mileena's father, presumably King Jerrod, being killed on her watch. Next is Tanya, the current leader of the Umgadi who also holds a grudge against Li Mei for abandoning them. Last to be revealed is Baraka, who explains that he and his followers are also victims of the same Tarkat plague that Mileena is afflicted with.
Also revealed in the trailer was Orderrealm native Darrius as a new kameo fighter.
Also revealed at the convention are the kombatants that will be included in the first DLC Kombat Pack. Joing the roster will be Omni-Man from Invincible, DCs Peacemaker, Ermac, Quan Chi, Takeda, and Homelander from The Boys.

Takeda looks great. Not sure how I feel about Ermac's new look, and I'm not sold on Quan Chi's face. Maybe it's just the angle, but he don't look right to me.

I love Ermac but I'm not big on this design.
For me personally his alt in MK9 was like peak Ermac... I'd love to see something similar as an alt.

The general consensus I'm seeing from a lot of reaction videos is that nobody seems to like Ermac's design. I'm sure there will be alts and other skins....hopefully.
