That's right folks! According to Revenge of the Fans, WB Animation is working on a new animated Mortal Kombat movie. Some big name talent listed so far is Joel McHale (Community) and Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter).
Some other names cast for voice work are:

- Darin DePaul (Spider-Man PS4, Justice League Action)
- Fred Tatasciore (He’s absolutely prolific, but you can currently check him out on Avengers Assemble and the new Voltron)
- Grey Griffin (Young Justice, Avengers Assemble)
- Ike Amadi (Avengers Assemble, Trollhunters)
- Kevin Michael Richardson (Another absolutely prolific voice actor, it was just announced he’ll be Mr. Terrific in Justice League vs The Fatal Five)
- Patrick Seitz (Has voiced Scorpion for all of the new MK games)
- Robin Atkin Downes (Disenchantment, Voltron, a ton more)
- Steve Blum (Voiced Sub-Zero in the Mortal Kombat reboot game)

Actually prefer this over a movie I think.
WB animated movies generally seem to be better than there live action stuff.
Under the Red Hood/Mask of the Phantasm are two of my favorite movies ever.
Also loved crisis on two earths... got chills when Batman was Talking to his other universe counterpart owl man and said "There is a difference between us...we've both looked into the abyss,but when it looked back at us you blinked" or something along those lines.

God I hope this is real. Maybe it could be a prequel flick to 11, sort of like how Street Fighter Ties That Bind was a prequel to SFIV, in lieu of a prequel comic.

Been feverishly checking Amazon for the movie listing for the past week. The trailer was nice surprise. Bummed that Patrick Seitz didn't end up coming back as Scorpion.

With the exception of Sub-Zero, I don't get why they are using MKX costumes for several of the characters. I could possibly understand using Scorpion's past counterpart costume from MK11 instead of his MK9 due to less details keep track off and ease of animation. I mean most of this looks like it's going to be during the Shaolin Tournament and with WB animation's track record, really doubt it be much longer than 90-100 minutes.

It is good, remember some guy that was doing something just like when they were running on the rooftop in fan made drawings. I'm glad that it was this animated film. Don't watch animated films but I'm buying this.
