The owner of fellow FDMK affiliate Mortal Kombat Warehouse, Murdoink, has uncovered something very interesting in the latest PC update for Mortal Kombat X.In one of the settings files, you can see that "Pit" has been added to the list of backgrounds. The left column in red is the original file, and the right in green is from the same file after the update.
Could NetherRealm Studios be preparing to release klassic arena DLC? God, I hope so! My one and only gripe with MKX is that there are so few arenas. Personally, I feel that each DLC character in the Kombat Pack should've came with a new fighting arena, similar to Killer Instinct.

More arenas is always nice. I wonder if it'll be free like the classic fatalities. I'd buy it if it's not though.

I'm glad to see the Pit returning but I'm just hoping for the return of the Kombat Tomb!

Not sure if it's a hack per se. It's usually not that hard to open and examine PC game files.
