There have been quite a few rumors floating around about further DLC characters planned for Mortal Kombat (2011), most notibly Jason Voorhees. However, NetherRealm Studios Kommunity Manager Rigo Cortes has konfirmed via Twitter that the studio is kurrently not working on any further DLC for the game.
Disappointing, I know. I was personally hoping for more stages, kostumes, and fatalities.
In my opinion the game is complete, with the exception of costumes. They should have prepared more DLC classic costumes. Overall, i am very satisfied.I guess they are probably focusing and working on the next MK game.
It just sounds like they're taking a small break, for all we know he could just be trying to throw us off while they sneak somebody in. However, it's actually smarter to hold off for a few months, so they don't oversaturate their own market with 40 dollars worth of characters so soon. Either way, I'd bet that Wave 2 is going to include at least C. Smoke, Tanya, or a guest again, considering how fans want Smoke, Boon wants Tanya, and I'm assured WB wants to make money off more guests.
