Official Rain Gameplay Trailer Released

As promised, the much anticipated gameplay trailer for upcoming DLC fighter Rain has been released today!

Rain will available for download on the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles on July 19th.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios harness the strength of one of the most powerful uses of water and bring you Rain in this all new HD gameplay video showing off the newest warrior to enter the Mortal Kombat arena. In this video, watch as Rain wields water like others would wield a sword and uses it to crush, suffocate, drop, and destroy anyone who steps into the ring to face him. This watery warrior, the third all-new character to be released via DLC, will be available on July 19th and joins Skarlet and Kenshi who are both currently available for download on 360 and PS3.

OMG!!!!He is absolutely phenomenal!!!His moves,his XRay and as far as i can see,his fatalities are completely new and awesome!!!NRS did a great work,once again.Thanks for the info,ChAsESaVaGe.

I love the new take on his old moves...The water control orb is sweet and the super roundhouse is awesome aswell.

Everthing is superb about this incarnation of Rain. He looks so much fun and his fatalities look so brutal.

We've only got one more character left for the summer.

And we may get more in fall, since the already released characters, are doing well.

Rain looks REALLY great and I can't wait to play as him, it's nice to see the Super Roundhouses Kick again

but IMO Rain's fatalities look a little weak and could be better but I'm glad to see Rain again
