Today Gamespot released a new Mortal Kombat (2011) video vignette featuring Liu Kang. A good deal of in-game fighting is shown in a new Earthrealm/Outworld merging rooftop stage against Kano, a character also being officially revealed for the first time. The vignette ends with Liu Kang performing a gruesome chest-punch fatality against a more youthful Shang Tsung, who was masquerading as Reptile earlier in the video's fight sequences. Could Shang Tsung finally be getting his morph ability back?
Also attached to the end of the video is the Kollector's Edition bookend teaser released earlier this week.

I'm so happy to see that Shang Tsung can morph again and Kano's MK3/MK vs. DC mix is great but Liu Kang having a heart punch fatality? I not a fan of this at all

Istill want Kano's MK1/MKSM costume. I don't like MK3 Kano. At least he's not bald.

Not really stealing a page from Kano. The shaolin have a death move that pushes the breast plate of your ribcage to your heart, stopping it. This is just a more exaggerated version of it really.

It's not Kano's Heart Rip guys, it's kinda like in kung fu movies where they punch a hole in someone.

If you guys remember, Liu Kang was never meant to have true bloody moves, and I believe he is supposed to be something like Bruce Lee, so I could see that being his fatality. Kinda cool actually. After all, that's just fatality one.

The morph wasn't in game engine. It was a still image that adobe/photoshop was used on.
