mk2011.jpgThe folks over at NetherRealm Studios were kind enough to pass along the full press release and Hi-Res version for the Scorpion gameplay video that was released over the weekend.
Scorpion has re-emerged from hell once again? and he is ready to battle. Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios are sharing a new video featuring Scorpion and some of his killer moves while he takes on an array of Mortal Kombat warriors. The video showcases some of his signature attacks as well as his ability to link special moves together to create more deadly combos.

Mortal Kombat is the most brutal installment of the landmark fighting game to date for release on the PlayStation?3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360? video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2011. The game is being developed by the newly re-named NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon.

Scorpion is looking badass and the X ray moves are looking nice, hope they have X ray Fatalities. Alot on Scorpion you would think it is about Scorpion than Raiden. Hope to see Scorpion be able to harpoon (chain) catch opponent or Sindel while they and she are in the air. Also, maybe the Fatality where like fifteen Scorpion appear and something new to that Fatality if it does appear in MK (2011). Scorpion - Flame
