Looks like Warner Bros. really plans on satisfying our need for new Mortal Kombat merchandise! In addition to new action figure rumors reported earlier, FDMK has just learned from a credible source (owner) at a popular toy manufacturer specializing in PVC statues/busts that they will be releasing a new line of Mortal Kombat statues sometime in the near future. Unfortunately, they could not reveal which characters will be included in the line or if they will be based on characters from the much anticipated Mortal Kombat (2011) due out next Spring. All they could tell me is that the planned size is 1/5 scale, which is roughly 15 to 17 inches tall. Wow! And based on their other products, expect these statues to fall somewhere around the $200 - $300 range and be in short supply.

Once the company makes an official announcement, rest assured FDMK will be the first to report on these exciting new items!
