Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe associate producer Hector Sanchez has confirmed on the Midway forums a rumor that the MK Team was planning a special night were fans can play against them online."The rumors are correct! the mortal kombat team is planning on doing something we've never done before, and that's organize a night where we can play against you guys online! we've been checking out the online activity and we're itching to get out there and see what you've got!"
According to Hector, Friday, January 23rd will be the day the MK Team will be online. Exact times for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 haven't been officially announced, however. Although he did say to stay tuned this week as more information becomes available. He also confirmed that Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon will also be online!

Yeah, that does suck, but look at it this way, so many people are probably going to go online that the servers will probably crash and hardly anyone will get to play them anyways.

You've got a good point there ? people complain enough about how bad the servers are, imagine what they'll be like once news of this spreads.

Wow, what a lame experience. I was online on my PS3 for over an hour and a half and I never got to play one MK team member. For starters, I never saw more than 4 or 5 online. Boon was never available to challenge, and the others constantly declined. I must've challenged MKMustard at least 50 times, but they declined every time. And MKTundra never accepted or declined. They just sat there, so I would always eventually have to cancel my challenge.
For those of you from other countries who were upset they weren't going to get a chance to play against an MK team member, trust me, you didn't miss anything. Seriously, why be online if all you're going to do is decline challenges. I don't know which MK teams members they actually were, but I do know they were straight up assholes.
I'm really starting to dislike the MK team. It's just like the fight night chats at MKOnline. You get all excited before the event, but after it's all said and done, you're left with a horrible taste in your mouth and realize they really don't take anything seriously when it comes to interacting with their own fanbase.

It seems actual friendly developers are few and far between nowdays. Harmonix, Bungie and Valve come to mind.
But then again, I'd be pissed that they made MK DC half of a game, but that's my opinion. I didn't even tell my cousin about this, there was no reason to give a damn. We both feel even worse than you, Fuzz. We gre up with MK and now it's turned to shit.

I'm really disappointed about the challenge of yesterday and quote to Fuzz... I was online only for an hour and I've found only MK Mustard for a little I've made a request but it was declined so I've wait for an half hour and no one alive in... what a sad challenge... I have to quote Fuzz... this game wasn't so good at all, but I think also that the team isn't so good too...
