Hmmm...The text gives me instantly the feeling of a "teaser trailer" of something upcoming.
But if it's true that this is his personal page, then I'm amazed. But I'm quite sceptic at this stage.

If your email is something like joe@professsionalprogrammers.com or whatever you may just come off as some fresh intern after a job at Midway, hence your emails probably never being opened. Although that's merely me speculating, can't say for sure what Boon does, obviously he has some crony sorting his mail for him.

lol... actually shoe and I were talking about it and we came to the conclusion Ed might actually just playing with Adobe Photoshop 7 and looking to see how he can improve his title picture.
Shoe looked at the header and from the time it was created to the time it was uploaded (Roughly 10 hours), we don't think it was of any great importance to the mk game.
However, if one would speculate... reference to the first pit in the first mk game? Who knows...

It is so easy to come up with ridiculous ideas.
For example, the planet Earth could represent Earthrealm, and the Moon the pit as you said. From there it is not hard to say they both represent MK1, but what about MK1? A remake of course.
lol, lets watch all these theories spread throughout the community, should be entertaining for a little while.
