Jazwares Says No More Mortal Kombat Figures Planned

UPDATE: FDMK had a chance to speak with a representative from Jazwares Inc. Here is what they had to say:

FDMK: So is it true what Toynewsi is saying? Is there really no more waves planned for MK? I can hear alot of MK fans' hearts breaking if the Kintaro figure is canceled.

Jazwares: I know I really want Kintaro. But it is true. Midway did not want to renew our license.

Well, there you have it folks. The Kintaro figure is indeed canceled. I guess I'll be kitbashing another Goro figure into Kintaro, again. Bummer...

Popular toy website Toynewsi has reported that Jazwares Inc. is not planning on releasing anymore Mortal Kombat figures for the forseeable future. This comes as quite a disappointment for those who were hoping to see Jazwares Inc.'s planned Kintaro figure released.

"According to the folks at Jazwares, as of right now they have no new waves planned for release."

However, the news update did mention that in addition to the all black Noob recently released, there is also a Reptile variant available now at Toys 'R' Us stores.

FDMK is currently waiting for confirmation from its contacts within Jazwares Inc. about this new information and will post updates as soon as they are received.

But in their stores I've seen that this toys are out of stock, do you know some stores that sell this and ship also in Europe?

Now this is an odd move by Midway by not renewing their license. Have they finally caught wind of the dwindling popularity of MK that they're limiting expenditure on merchandise, or is this another instance where they show complete disregard to their loyal fans?
Personally, I think they just don't care about the fans. What harm does it possibly do to have companies making toys of your intellectual properties? Midway doesn't even have to do anything. It's basically free money.

But do you know where I can find also toys about Kitana, Mileena and Jade?
Unfortunately, eBay is pretty much your only option. Infinite Concepts made a Mileena figure in 2000. They did have a Kitana figure planned, but it was never released. Toy Island made a 3 3/4 Jade, as well as a 10 inch Jade and Kitana figure.

Yeah I've seen.... and I like very much to buy this Action Figures... unfortunely in Italy the stores don't sell this items... here MK is a saga unfamous, here guys like to play stupid games like Tekken...

I definetly agree with Fuzz on that that Midway didn't care about the fans and they just donn't wanna make any financial problems to themselves.
That's a real shame.

I have every MK action figure listed in my action figure section.

P.S.My hat's down for you...It's my dream,but in Russia it's almost impossible to collect anything,but vodka bottles...
