Midway has released the next trailer for its upcoming Ultimate Mortal Kombat for the Nintendo DS. This trailer focuses solely on Puzzle Kombat, showcasing some of the special moves and fatalities in the game.Registered FDMK members click here to download this trailer.
The official Ultimate Mortal Kombat website is now also online. So far, the site doesn't have much in terms of content, except for a trailer released a few months ago.

...What the hell. They didn't show anything about UMK3. When you said Puzzle Kombat...I thought they will still show some of the UMK3 fighting. But..that was nothing. Puzzle Kombat. Yeah I'm willinging to go and buy the game. But I want to see the regular fighting as well.

This game rules.
A port of a game released twelve or so years ago, rehashed and put in "arcade quality". and the other half of this sure to be smash-hit game is a mini game that came out in 2004! Wow Midway, excellence and effort REALLY shine in...'Ultimate Mortal Kombat'.
Seriously, Ed Boon needs to have his legs broken in a couple of places by angry MK fans, you know, to set him on the right path...

In all fairness, Boon probably has no say in corporate decisions like this. The idea to port an old game and a mini game to the DS probably came from the Midway executives. Personally, I think it's these fucks who are clueless.
