Midway has released the offical Mortal Kombat: Armageddon bio for Raiden. While not as long as previous bios released so far, it does reveal some interesting plot details. It describes in full detail about how Raiden managed to control the corpse of Liu kang and his purpose for doing so. It also reveals that Raiden has entered into an alliance with Shinnok. Very interesting details about the thunder god, indeed.

Nope, don't like it one bit. The real Raiden wouldn't change to something like. Why does one always have to change perfect characters the way they are. We don't see Scorpion running around in a thong, loving the world

Thanks for the disturbing mental image. Anyway, character devolpment is usually a good thing. I mean, I like Ermac's transformation into a hero and Noob Saibot becoming a leader instead of a henchman, but this is too much. Although, I admit, I'm interested to see how this is all gonna work out.

. I too think character development is great, but this is going way too far. Ermac was a slave to Shao Kahn, and he/they were freed from his grasp. Noob Saibot had his own plans, but Raiden? They are TOTALLY changing his character, that's not development if you ask me...
