Gamespot has posted an article stating Midway has announced that 2006's Mortal Kombat: Armageddon has reached 1 million copies sold for the PS2 and Xbox consoles. Sales will no doubt increase substantially once Armageddon is released on the Wii this April.
It was also announced that 2005's Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks has also reached the 1 million mark, as well.

Ripping heads off torsos and dismembering bodies may not make good substitutes for parenting, but it sure does sell a lot of games. Midway Games today announced that Mortal Kombat: Armageddon has shipped 1 million units worldwide.
The game was released in October on the PlayStation 2 and Xbox and is allegedly the final Mortal Kombat game for current-generation consoles. The finale packed in dozens of characters from previous MK games and was met with generally positive reviews. The game is also headed to the Wii in April.
It was also announced that 2005's Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks has also reached the 1 million mark, as well.
Midway also revealed that the 2005 game Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks has also shipped more than 1 million units. Shaolin Monks was released on the Xbox and PS2.

Haha, Gamespot gave MKA such a shitty review and I bet they are eating their words now with how many MKA has sold. 
But hey I didnt think it was as good as I thought it was going to be. It sold well just because it had the MK name on it. BTW, nice update Flame Sama and Fuzz.

Ha, so MKA and MKSM finally sold 1 million, eh? I had a feeling that this would happen sooner or later. Anyway, like mattdawg said, good update, Flame Sama and Fuzz

USELESS!?
The last thing I would want to post would be least of useless! That was the best and shortest way I could describe my interest in MKSM!? Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks really was a GOOD game! It had in fact been one of the first MK games I bought in many years!!! That game means alot to me. Everything I post usually means something...I apologize most sincerely if you took that the wrong way. I had no intention of making it seem useless... but gees...I am a huge MKFan I would never make ANY post here useless...I couldn't do that.

I KNOW what that meant. I just don't think that my posts should be considered useless. Everybody has their own opinions. That is one of the reasons why it is a forum regardless if the thread is old or new.
I was simply answering and giving MY thoughts about it without such a long explaination. Besides, I wasn't aware that was apart of the Rules anyway?
