Known in Earthrealm as Hell, this is where unwanted souls are sent. Any individual tainted by evil ends up in this forsaken place, and demons torture the souls of the damned for all eternity. The realm was ruled by many entities, including Lucifer himself. However, the fallen Elder God, Shinnok, usurped him and became the new ruler. Within the Netherealm, different classes of demon existed, including the Oni.
