Test Your Might was a mini-game first introduced in the first Mortal Kombat game. The player must press the attack buttons as fast as possible to build up a power meter. Once the meter was above a certain point, the player could then break the object. Objects like wood and stone only required the player to fill up the meter a small amount, but as the player progressed though the game, the objects, like diamond for example, became increasingly harder to break, thus requiring the player to fill the meter much more.

Test Your Might was brought back in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
