Hydro was created by Malibu Comics. He is Sub-Zero's best friend and fellow Lin Kuei assassin. Hydro has the ability to control water and even blast strong waves of water that are so cold they can actually freeze his opponent upon contact. He is a bit younger than Sub-Zero, but is a respectable fighter in his own right. He also carries two ninja swords on his back.

Hydro was killed by Scorpion after the two fought in Outworld.
