This prison was located deep under Shang Tsung's Palace. Many of the kombatants imprisoned here were familiar faces from previous Mortal Kombat games such as Fujin, Stryker, and Kintaro. If a kombatant got too close to one of the cells, the prisoner inside would grab them, granting their opponent a free hit.
